Chaldean Man Deported Fears for his Life
He grew up in Detroit.
Went to Chaldean churches.
Built his life in America.
Then he was deported to Iraq - a country many Chaldeans fled because of war, persecution, kidnappings, and violence against Christians.
Now Sanan Atou is living in hiding, fearing for his life.
To many people, deportation sounds like “going back home.”
But for many Chaldeans, there is no home to return to.
An ancient community that survived for thousands of years in Mesopotamia has been nearly erased by war, ISIS, extremism, and instability.
Please help Sanan by sharing his story and donating to his gofundme.
