Michigan Recognizes May as Chaldean-American Month

Michigan has officially recognized May as Chaldean American Month.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed Bill 4303 on April 28, 2026, honoring the history, culture, and contributions of Chaldean Americans in the state.

This recognition is especially meaningful because Michigan is home to one of the largest Chaldean communities in the world.

It is a proud moment for our community and a reminder of the lasting impact Chaldean Americans have made across Michigan.
